Beech Brook Farm Equine Rescue

Our mission is to save equines from neglect and abusive situations and transition them to loving forever homes.

Our 501c3 nonprofit rescue is a small volunteer based rescue that specializes in gaited breeds (Tennessee Walking horse, Rocky Mountain horse, Missouri Fox Trotter, Paso etc.). We also rescue "long ears" (donkeys, mules). We rescue from auction and occasionally accept owner surrenders. For information on surrendering, please click HERE. For information about our rescue policy, please click HERE. For more information on our nonprofit status and other details, please see ABOUT US.

It is only with your support and donations that we are able to save, rehabilitate and re-home the horses. Please consider making a life-saving donation today. In doing so you are helping to save a horse's life.

We did it!! BBFER recently purchased a home of our own--a farm property in North Stonington CT (photos above). THANK YOU to all the donors who helped make this dream a reality.

The horses are now in their new homes, and settling in nicely. However, there is lots of work still to be done! We urgently need your support to begin building a barn fund to put a barn on the property next year. If at all possible, please donate!

Please join us in welcoming three new arrivals: CaramelCreme, and Finn! Click on their names for pictures and more info.

Thank you all for helping us help these horses, donkeys and minis! To stay up to date, please follow us on Facebook and sign up for our NEWSLETTER.
